About

Meet Sara

A registered psychologist working with children, adolescents and adults across Lidcombe, Parramatta and surrounding areas.

I became a psychologist because I have always been interested in people — their stories, their relationships and the experiences that shape who they are.

Over the years, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults and families across mental health, disability and community settings. These experiences have taught me that there is rarely a simple explanation for why people struggle. Behind every challenge is a person with their own strengths, experiences and circumstances.

My work has included supporting people experiencing anxiety, emotional difficulties, trauma, behavioural concerns, developmental differences and complex life challenges. I also have extensive experience within the disability sector and Positive Behaviour Support.

As a registered Behaviour Support Practitioner, I have worked alongside individuals, families, support teams and multidisciplinary professionals to better understand behaviour, reduce restrictive practices and improve quality of life through person-centred and evidence-informed approaches.

This experience continues to inform my psychological practice, particularly in the areas of emotional regulation, neurodevelopmental presentations, trauma and complex support needs.

I aim to create a space where people feel comfortable being themselves, speaking openly and working through life's challenges without judgement. My approach is collaborative, practical and tailored to the individual.

I am currently completing a Master of Clinical Psychology and hold a Master of Applied Behaviour Analysis from Monash University. I have also completed Phase 1 Certification in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics® (NMT), a framework developed by Dr Bruce Perry that explores how development, relationships and life experiences influence wellbeing and behaviour.

Above all, I believe meaningful change happens when people feel understood, supported and empowered to move forward.

Behaviour Support services are provided separately through Universal Ability, a registered NDIS provider.
